About Me

My photo
Imphal, Manipur, India
An independent person, happy living to me is dancing and cooking. 12 years away from home and family have taught me many things. I can cook the best food, I can dance the best way, I can make my house the most beautiful and yes I can fix your broken tap too! And no wonder, I have now made my seat in the room of poets ;-) Nourishing my talents I offer you the bits and pieces of it here. Enjoy reading :-)

Back to LIFE

......And I walked into the woods. I kept going through and found myself in a maze, I was alone. Danger surrounding me, problems and more problems. Days passed, but still puzzled. Thunder, lightning and the trees falling, I was scared, bruised and agonized! But I faced it all. As I struggle to find my way out from the dark woods, 'Ah! Life! There you are'.... I could see the bright sunshine welcome me with its open arms. Without looking back, I said to myself 'lets move!'.

View From My New Cubicle

Blue sky with layers of creamy clouds
Kites flying high with their wings wide open
The enchanting coconut grove
Creating potpourri of nature
Inside the glass shield room-
A money plant creeping up on a stick
And Queen of the Night flaunting it's leaves
Painted stones with hues of rainbow.
Kempegowda - our Fighter Fish,
Swirling inside the fish pot
Living a life of solitude
Admiring the beautiful ladies around :-)
All set to take off anytime is Air 360 Power - My Jet plane.
The transposition of day to dusk,
Darkness overruled the bright sunlight
There appears the moon ushered by the stars
Twinkling and illuminating its light to the terene,
Giving a new hope!
With a setiment of yet another wonderful day
I say goodbye......

Song lyrics (Taayonaraba Punshi)

TAAYONARABA PUNSHI

Laayengfam Khangdre Loveta gnaore nishasu changdre
Ahing Nongan taayonare, tumba chaba changdare
Pale thamoida tengumna, laikanaduna leire nungshi heiruba eihakti
Tume ui, chare ui, omnipotentka haibadura nahakse

Yumdagi mapaan thokta thoklaku phage ngasidi khangani
Apsara maanbi nahaakse oidum oithokke eihaaki

Sense & Supremacy

Talk, do not hush
Listen, don’t behave numb
Be smart & don’t be a dumb
Argue & do not whisper
Question & don’t mortify,
Educate & do not brawl.
Be superior & you’ll not feel victimized.

MEKHELE – LONG FORGOTTEN

I’ve spent my childhood rollin’ on the mud
The vital element of making the valley so green
Twistin’ in the stream as pure as a holy river
A miraculous childhood that never last for long

Days came to hit the road and start a new
The place I loved the most I had to leave
Encounterin’ the alien locale was not fun
But got adapted with the passing moments
Kept myself amused yet the feeling of nostalgic!

One day, I packed my bags

And headed in search of that long lost thrill
As I landed, I had no idea where I was
The place was new to me.
A much immature place that was…..

I saw a smile welcoming me,
My Mother! Oh! Here I'm

My home - Mekhele ‘Manipur’.
A sentiment of melancholy, past no more exist neither future.
Flooded by tears that have no value.

Death Valley dearth of verve
Coming back to the town show me your zeal
Summon the existence and release the fatality
Promise me an August feeling!!

Higher the hills virtue cannot reach
Green no more has its charm
We were four, and today only three
Lost in the pandemonium; my friends
Let not destiny rule our terra firma
Let’s built every diminishing houses

Our happiness, our laughter. Dig it! Find it!
Hey hey! this is not you.
You promised us a more contented life
The soil still smells good as in the times of yore
Be no different, you can be the same
Oh Mama! Oh Papa! Give us hope,
Let us dwell serenely in ‘Our Valley’.

War

The war goes on and on, there are so many innocent people who suffered whole through their life for sins they have not done. Many lives have lost and many in misery. Creation of the lord which meant for peace and beauty has become a graveyard. We can see man’s destruction everywhere. Everywhere there is sadness and despair. The place meant for peace is no more in peace but in great turmoil. ‘Love’ the purest word doesn’t exist anymore. ‘Hatred’ is what we experience every day. The war is never ending, it goes on and on and we are waiting for the third coming of the Lord!!

Limericks

There was a woman from Wales,
Who loves males and walked like a snail
One day she climbed a mountain
A frog came out of a fountain
And she swam with the Whales.

Limericks

She is a princess of Ireland
But looks like a piece of garland
She broke her nail
And burst in pain
A prince came running to catch the hen.
